General
How much do you love Kingdom Hearts? I really really like it, but it's not the only thing out there.
Do you own the games? I have KH and KH II, and I've been meaning to get KH Re:COM. But I don't have any handheld game systems, so I'll just have to wait for the PS2 versions of 358/2 Days and Birth By Sleep.
Do you own the manga? No, but I've read a few of the books. I'll probably buy it someday, though.
Have you beaten KH1? Yep.
Have you beaten KH2? Yep! In about 4 days.
Have you beaten CoM? Haven't tried.

What pairing do you DESPISE? despise.... huh... Well, I don't really despise any... I disagree strongly with several, but I can't think of any that I hate... RoxasXSora makes me shudder, though.

Luxord? people call him a drunken brit, yes? I don't know what he is, but he's a cardshark, so I guess he's cool.
Marluxia? He's got such amazing pink fluffy hair, and I love his scythe! But he's anything but a fairy-man. He's got a buff bod and a deep voice... I dunno, he's scary. And I think he molested Namine during CoM.
Larxene? She is an amazing electric bitch, and I love her!
Donald? He's a bit of an asshole, but I guess he's okay.
Goofy? Yeah, he's sweet. I cried when he "died."

Axel/Roxas? not really... It's clear to me that Axel truly cares for Roxas, and that Roxas thinks of Axel as an important friend, but I'm not convinced they're a couple.
Vexen/Axel? O_o Vexen HATES Axel, and the feeling is mutual.
Axel/Demyx? I like them because of Demyx Time. Also, Steam is a really hot pairing in any series. Like Zutara.
Xigbar/Demyx? all these pairings are starting to annoy me. you can't ship people you know nothing about!
Vexen/Xemnas? I know next to nothing about OrgyXIII except what the fans speculate about them, so no shipping them for me!
Marluxia/Larxene? I think this one sprung up because those two and Axel hang out, and Axel is "taken," so these two are an "obvious" pair, because they interact.
If not these, what others? Riku and Xion. I've heard of VexenXMarly, but that doesn't work either.

Sora or Riku? Probably Riku. I love Sora, but I'm biased towards the characters I cosplay.
Sora or Roxas? Sora; he's sweeter. ^_^
Kairi or Namine? Kairi; she's nicer.
Axel or Demyx? There's no comparison.
Vexen or Xaldin? Xaldin, I guess, because I don't like Vexen.

Traverse Town or Twilight Town? Traverse Town, I think. I was sad that it wasn't in the second game, though I guess it meshed with Hallow Bastion.

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.

He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:
Knowing when to come in out of the rain
Why the early bird gets the worm
Life isn’t always fair,

and maybe it was my fault. Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don’t spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge).

His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place.
Reports of a 6-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition. Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children.

He declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer sun lotion or an Aspirin to a student, but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when you couldn’t defend yourself from a burglar in your own home without the burglar suing you for assault.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot, spilled a little in her lap and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents Truth and Trust, by his wife Discretion, his daughter Responsibility, and his son Reason. He is survived by his 4 stepbrothers: I Know My Rights; I Want It Now; Someone Else Is To Blame; and I’m A Victim.

Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone.

My friend, , recently posted a journal listing all the cosplays that she is working on and needs to finish. I'm waiting for my laundry to finish so's I can pack for the con, so I'm going to list mine, too!!! ^_^

Right now, I have no finished cosplays that I could just pull out and go, "okay, here's a good costume" at any occasion. I have several that are kinda-sorta done-ish. First category,
Needs Adjustment:
Tamaki -- I have shamed the Ouran prince with this cosplay. The blazer is absolute crap, his wig is terrible quality, and I don't have a good pair of pants or shoes for him. He needs some serious adjustment.
Riku -- I never finished his outer vest thing, and his inner vest thing isn't quite right yet (fricking Keybearers and their weird clothes!!). I did, however, get a great pair of pants for him today!!! And his wig, as always, is smexy!

So, there are several cosplays that I've done over the years that I really enjoyed but can't wear anymore, for whatever reason, but still want to someday. So this is the second category,
Re-do!!!:
Ryuichi Sakuma -- the famous rockstar from Gravitation was my first at-con cosplay. I had a lot of fun working on him, and he came out great. But I did not have the body for an outfit like that, and I was really bad at binding at the time, so it didn't look too good on me. I would just give it away, but the sweater has shrunk over the years and now it just looks crappy. He is a character I would like to play again someday.
Kyo Sohma -- I had a great time playing the cat last year, and I would love to do it again, this time with other Furuba characters to hang out with. But I styled his wig on a wig head that is much smaller than my head, so it came out way too short on me. I need to re-make his wig completely, and get him some new pants. His old ones, uh... died... totally an accident...
Light Yagami -- okay, so his is actually pretty okay as is, but I would like to improve upon it. I don't have the blazer, so basically I'm any guy in a nice shirt and red tie carrying around a black notebook. Not exactly specific. Also, I can't wear him until I get a good wig for him; My hair is black right now, and I'm planning on growing it out. So, no Light for me until then.
Nono -- I haven't even worn her yet and she needs to be redone. You might remember her as the bubbly, happy, pink-haired, tall girl from Diebuster. She's awesome, and I'm about to disgrace her at NYAF with my half-assed cosplay of her. blehh, she needs a better wig....

So, everyone does a cosplay that they loved but have to say goodbye to, for whatever reason. And so this category is for cosplay that are
Retired:
Namine -- She was really fun to play; I loved messing with the Marluxias last year at ctcon. It was awesome, but I can't play her anymore. I shouldn't have in the beginning. Why? Because I am tall and fat, and Namine is short and skinny. Mostly the height thing, though. If I were short and fat it wouldn't look as weird, I think. Also, her wig is crap.
Nana -- this was more of a closet cosplay than anything else (although I did dye my hair for it), and I only wore it once, but it was really fun. she's all sweet and innocent. I didn't really get a chance to play with her character at all, but in my own head I did, and it was awesome. Yeah...
Ichigo -- Ah, my 9th grade halloween costume. Tee hee.. tee hee.... I'll just leave it at that.

And of course, everyone has the cosplays that they have yet to do, but dream of doing someday. These are the protential, maybe in the future list. In other words, I'll do them
Someday:
Rip Van Winkle -- I think she was super cool in that one episode of the OVA, until Alucard showed up and she flipped the fuck out. But she could be cool to do, plus her outfit kicks ass. And I want to do a group cosplay with a bunch of friends, so she works.
Orgy coat -- okay, so this isn't a full cosplay, but it so counts! I want to make one, not buy one, so it's going to be hard. It may have to wait until I'm a better cosplayer.
Kagome -- I've dreamt of cosplaying Kagome since before I knew what cosplay was. But not just any Kagome cosplay. The ultimate Kagome cosplay. I was going to get her bag and put all her crap in it; the portable stove, about 28 packs of ramen, a medi pack, lots of candy and souvenirs, and of course, her school books crammed in there somewhere. It was going to be perfect. (I sometimes think I put more emphasis on the bag than on the costume itself...) It's going to happen someday, even if I'm not the one wearing it.
Sailor Jupiter -- My first "cosplay" ever was Sailor Moon. I felt like the coolest kid on the planet to be wearing that at Halloween. Years later, I was traumatized when a friend pointed out that I could never be Sailor Moon, due to my height. An alternative was soon realized; Sailor Jupiter! She fights, she cooks, she's really smart and nice; what more could I want in a character? So she gets a mention on this list.
(edit) Mireille -- Added because Seras-chan reminded me. A long time ago my friend drew some parallels between the two of us and Mireille and Kirika from Noir. So we decided that someday we would cosplay them. Someday.
(edit) Zuko -- Forgot about him. I need a Katara (zutara ftw), but he would be so much fun! ^_^ he's so awkward and silly and angsty.
(edit) Midoriko -- I was re-reading an old fanfic that I loved as a kid, and she is a really important player in the ending, so I got to thinking. I looked up a pic of her, and she's pretty awesome-looking. Also, she's just awesome in general. And we never really see her with other people, so there's no relative height issues for her! She could be really cool.

Things that suck:
1. I hate my own appearance, but I can't seem to fix it.
2. I still need to get my front tooth fixed.
3. I still really miss my mom from time to time.
4. Worse than missing her, though, is the guilt that I only think of her from time to time.
5. It's been really hot and humid recently.

Things that rock:
1. I have a job, and I got paaaaid today! ^_^
2. My Tamaki cosplay's debut is coming up in two weeks! (still need to do the blazer, but it's gonna be awesome!)
3. I've rediscovered my love for Harry Potter that the angst in the fifth book had extinguished.
4. I have a lot of great memories of friends and family to help me through the hard times.
5. I have a great dad and stepmom (though my dad can be a bit annoying at times...) who way overestimate my awesomeness.
6. I'm gonna get pocky this sunday!!!!!
7. My dad pays for wireless at my house, so I can have (reasonably) fast internet any time I want it! Which also means that...
8. ...I have a near-unlimited supply of anime whenever I want it!
9. I now have unlimited texting (although I have to pay $10 a month for it)
